Arthur Bowler is a writer, speaker, theologian and announcer. He was born near Boston, Massachusetts USA, the son, grandson, great-grandson and nephew of protestant ministers.

After studying Psychology as an undergraduate and then Theology at Harvard University, he was ordained in Switzerland (die reformierte Landeskirche) where he served first in Zurich-Altstetten and later in Niederhasli-Niederglatt. His life experiences include crossing the North American continent alone twice in an old VW Beetle, working in three national parks and living in England where he worked as an English teacher. While in the UK he met Silvia Feitknecht from Twann BE, moved to Switzerland and started learning German. He is now a dual Swiss-American citizen and lives near Zurich.

Arthur Bowler has appeard as a guest on the Swiss national radio stations DRS1 and DRS3 as well as various local radio stations and he has been featured in print media including the Berner Zeitung, Soloturner Tagblatt and Zurcher Unterlander.
